Iain Stirling is a Runner from the Criminal faction, described as a Retired Spook.
Description[]
Stirling used to work for the NSCA where he learned all about the world’s most effective encryption and detection techniques by implementing them for the government. Now, as a Runner, he calls upon his knowledge of these techniques and the host of contacts he established during his time on the inside.
He uses the Logos console, which is shown on his card and works in sync with his ability to gain from agenda scoring by allowing him to draw a card every time the corp scores an agenda, as well as giving him a bigger starting hand. He has been described as a "risk-averse runner" that relies upon contacts to stall the corp, which fits well with his past in the establishment and his age.
Stirling is a wily old Runner, capable of deceptive feints on corporate servers. He is rarely seen without a drink in his hand.
